Happenings

Here i am again after missing in action for so many days (or should i say, weeks? ) :) Anyways, lots of lots of things happen during the time i wasn't blogging. Hmmm.... where should i start?? 


Okay, lets start with this: The main reason for not blogging for soooooo long.
 There's a problem with my broadband. And the day before that, something interesting happened to me.


It all started one lovely day in school...........
I was standing outside the computer lab 2 waiting for Audrey to collect money from the seniors for the IS Night tickets when i saw my Chemistry Lecturer, Madam Emily (I prefer to call her Mother Theresa for some reason) going up the stairs. The moment she saw me, she said " Kelly, i want to see you later in my office." I was like, okayyyy...what did i do??? Mother Theresa was the Head of A-Level Science Department and so far i know that most of the students were asked to see her for one reason : Exam results. And another fact that you should know is that i failed my Chemistry exam. Honestly speaking, this is the first time in my life that i have been called by a teacher to his/her office and i was like so nervous. 


Then...i went into the class and there she was, getting ready for chemistry lecture. When she began to talk i expected that the first few words coming out of her mouth were "okay, class settle down......" but no, it went like this:


"okay, there is a few students that i want to see later. Kelly Wong you have to see me later and uhm..... who else.... oh, Camron, David and Francine. There's a problem with your attendance. I want to know why you skipped so many class...."


At that moment, i was totally speechless. And one thing that i observed was that  a lot of eyes were on me.. I know they were thinking of the same thing : I didn't know that Kelly skipped classes. I always see her in lectures and tutorials." Yup, you guys are right. I didn't skip any classes (although i wanted to especially for Maths ans Chemistry) but i didn't. Then why the hell was my name called?


I went to see Mother Theresa right after the bell rang, indicating the start of second break. After i went in and took my seat, i said to her that i had not skipped any single class before and she told me that according to the record i had been skipping a lot of classes for Biology and Physics. I was like, "What the hell? Biology and Physics are two of my favourite subjects and now you are telling me that i skipped a lot of those classes?? "


And then, my hero arrived and saved his damsel in distress (me).  my heroine came and saved her student in distress (although i do wish that it was a "he" rather than a "she" coz it sounded nicer :D) My physics tutorial lecturer, Ms. Tang came in with a thumbdrive in her hand and she told Mother Theresa that she always see me in tutorials and lectures. Then she double checked with the data in her thumbdrive.


Mother Theresa: Oh, yea. Your attendance is very good. Okay okay, delete her from the list, her attendance is very nice. 


That's all. End of story. Full Stop. Without an apologise for humiliating me in front of all the A-Level Science students. So much for calling her Mother Theresa. But never mind. At least it was settled. And i live happily ever after.... NOT. Im gonna continue tomorrow as it's like a never ending story. Ciao! :)
